The Owner - Ken Quast
Ken Quast has been a model maker since the age of eight. He remembers some of his first models being made from plastic injection molded kits. The first 2 kits built were Christmas gifts from his parents. They were of a Volkswagon 10 window bus and one of the television show “The Monkeys” Monkey Mobile. Ken has been building ever since working in many different arenas. From fabricating in industry, building and repairing traditional boats, modifying professional cameras and adapting components to them.
As a model maker I work in many markets utilizing all types of techniques and materials to satisfy the needs of designers, engineers, artists and thinkers.

Ken has been trained by some of industry’s master craftsmen. After working for other shops and in different Industries Ken decided to open his own studio in 2001.
